Helicopter mode?!

On Lajes Air Base (Azores, Portugal), a formation of 6 Portuguese Air Force FIAT G91 some miles away requested a runway overhead and the ATC (a woman) approved. The lady thought that by time they arrive, she'd have all the current traffic landed, but things didn't turn out quite like that.

As she saw the G91s getting close to the approaching traffic she screamed, "G91s stop!!!". The formation leader answered back, "Do you want us to switch to Helicopter Mode?!"
